News from earlier this year from Garmin about their Vector power meter pedals (manufactured by Exustar).
"Garmin Vector product manager Clark Foy wouldn't be drawn on a projected release date for a mountain bike version of the system, but he did confirm that it would probably be the next application."
See Exustar's great new lineup of pedals, shoes, clothing, and accessories at Asia Bike. The Asia Bike show is running from October 9–12 in Nanjing, China. This year's show should be even bigger than last year when 487 brands exhibited, and over 15,000 visitors attended. Exustar is located in hall 6 (6.1500). We welcome you to drop by and say hello.
Some extracts from the story by Christopher Jones:
"From the first ride the cleat position felt good, my legs and knees were tracking properly."
"These are a big step ahead of entry and mid-level shoes which tend to focus on comfort at the cost of flex and loss of pedalling efficiency."
"The shoes win plus points for the reflective dots and rectangles on the rear – fantastic for catching the eyes of motorists approaching from behind at night."
